Lost Ancestors – Can you help?

STEWART & WRIGHT

Joan is looking for the parents of Margaret Stewart who was born at Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland in 1852.   Also, she is looking for records of her arrival to NSW from Scotland.  Margaret Stewart married Henry Wright in 1874 at Wentworth, NSW located near the Victorian border.

Margaret passes away on the 20 August 1929 at Wentworth, NSW and Henry (Harry) her husband who was born c1850 in Yorkshire, England passes away in 1884 at Wentworth, NSW. Both were buried at the Wentworth Cemetery.

KINNAMORE Family – Ireland

Maggie is looking for Thomas and Bridget Kinnamore and other family members from Athenry, Galway County, Ireland. Both Thomas and Bridget were Catholics and living at Athenry in 1864. Thomas had a farm in an area called Park on the outskirts of Athenry. Known children are Mary, Malachi and Michael who were born between c1840-1846 all migrated to NSW c1859-1865 and Pat migrated to USA ? No more information can be found on the family.

I'm looking for members contributions of their stories for our upcoming October 2019 Journal.  I would love to hear from any members who are interested in contributing their stories/articles.


For the February 2020 Journal, I will need members stories/articles before the December meeting if possible. 

All member's stories are always welcome throughout the year.

Members who made contributions of 200-word and 400-word stories for the Liverpool Leader and Liverpool City Champion papers for the “Beyond the Tree Exhibition” will also appear in the upcoming issues of Links ‘n’ Chains.

Inquiries for "Can you help?"  or research names for "Member's Interest" are also welcome in the next upcoming issue.
